“End To End” HD CCTV System Capability
Dowshu are committed to image quality. The next generation of CCTV systems will feature uncompressed digital video via traditional CCTV cable systems such as coaxial and twisted pair.
These systems will feature cameras capable of 720p and 1080p which are true HD television resolutions. In such a system the Dowshu digital video recorder will not create loss of quality or other limitations on the recorded and display resolution and quality.
Unlike IP systems where compression takes place at the camera the Dowshu digital video recorder will make the decision on the resolution and quality of recorded video images. This allows for direct display of true HD images in 720p and 1080p and also the recording of images in resolutions at anything from QCIF right through to 1080p.
Recordings may also be compressed as usual but recordings may also be made uncompressed which means that the image recorded is identical to the image transmitted from the camera and displayed on the monitor. This is a true “end to end” HD CCTV system.
